The Kid Bike Rodeo, situated alongside the landing strip at Slemon Park, provides a fun opportunity for children to showcase their riding ability and learn about safety in a fun and encouraging environment.
The event runs from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday so come early and get excited.
This event is FREE to attend and donations for the Children's Wish Foundation will be accepted.
We are also supporting the Healthy Parks for People Bike Rally hosted by the PEI Active Living Alliance and Parks Canada in the National Park. The Bike Rally will take place at 10:00am starting at Dalvay By-The-Sea, where bikes will be available for rent. For those who prefer walking, there is a Heritage Walk starting at the Bubbling Springs/Farmland trail close to the Dalvay entrance to the park. Following both events, all participants are invited to a barbeque with entertainment at Dalvay By-The-Sea. Its all free and you are invited! Both events will go rain or shine.
