Product Testing

The Summerside Cycling Club is pleased to announce the birth of a free service to our Members and to the manufactures or producers of cycling-related products. If you are a company and interested in having a diverse group of cyclists test out your product and write reviews that will be posted on the web, then this is a great opportunity for you.

Or, if you are a Member of the Club and interested in learning more about modern technology, nutrition products, or other related items, then you can check your inbox often as the word of product testors will be spread by sending a group email to all members. Please note that all Members who test a product are obligated to write at least a two paragraph review (complete with 0 to 5 bike rating) of the product.

It is important to remember that the products that the Summerside Cycling Club reviews are unbiased and no member with an affliation with a product will be entitled to review that product.

This product proved to be great when it came to what it said it does: does not give your stomach the "full" or cramping feeling. I used this product during a one day 260 km bike event the club holds annually. I continued to use the product as the year progressed. Although I could not determine if the product helped with my speed and endurance, the product did not stay in my mouth as some more common sports drinks. Also, the ease of simply pouring a pouch in a water bottle and shaking sure wins hands down when considering alternatives that you need to dilute and then dump the rest down the drain. I tested the strawberry flavour and enjoyed what I would call a subtle taste. All in all, a solid portable energy drink that can fit in your under saddle bag. Four and a half stars!
